Wang Zhao Jun
It is said that Wang Zhao Jun was one of four most beautiful ladies in China at the time. When Wang Zhao Jun was young, she lived by Xiangxi River at the foot of Feitaishan mountain, Sichuan Province. Being a girl from an ordinary family of mountainous area, she was a honest, firm and persistent woman.

At the era of West Han Dynasty she was living in the splendid Royal Palace but did not have much freedom as one of the emperor's concubines. She was waiting the opportunities to escape from 'the Golden Cage'.
In 33 B.C. Huhanye Chanyu of Huns Kingdom went to the Royal Palace of West Han Dynasty for the third time to propose a marriage. In order to get out of the 'lonely life' in the palace and also for the peace between West Han Dynasty and Huns, she voluntarily married Huhanye Chanyu.
After a long journey, finally, she and Huhanye Chanyu arrived in Huns Kingdom on the Grassland.

Living in Huns area, Wang Zhao Jun overcame the difficulties in climate, language and customs. She had children and lived there at ease.
Her good virtuous and kindheartedness were known near and far.

After Wang Zhao Jun passed away her family members and decedents of 3 generations made great efforts to maintain the peace between West Han Dynasty and Huns.
